Eligibility Criteria for Candidates

Applicants applying through the NCPOR Recruitment 2026 Notification OUT must meet specific education and experience requirements depending on the post.

• Ex-servicemen applying for technical trades must have relevant trade experience mentioned in service records with at least 4 years of experience.

• Civilian applicants must possess ITI certification in the relevant trade with 4 years of experience or Diploma in Engineering with 3 years of experience.

• Candidates applying for the Crane Operator position must have a heavy motor vehicle license and at least 5 years of experience operating hydraulic cranes above 20 MT capacity.

• Applicants for the Male Nurse post must hold a Diploma in General Nursing with 3 years of experience or BSc Nursing with 2 years of experience, with preference for ICU or OT experience.

• Candidates applying for Scientific Assistant roles should have a Diploma in Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences or Instrumentation with relevant work experience.

• Radio/Wireless Operator candidates must possess a 12th qualification with GOC certificate or diploma in electronics along with relevant experience.

• Applicants for the Chef/Cook post must hold a Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts, with experience handling large kitchen operations.

Step 1>Visit the official website of the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research.

Step 2> Download the enrollment form AL-2010 from the recruitment section then Ffll in all personal details, educational details and professional details. Now paste a recent passport-size photograph with a white background on the application form.
