Agniveer Vayu Merit List 2027

The merit list is prepared separately after evaluating applicants’ performance in the written examination and subsequent stages. Only applicants meeting the required standards and vacancy criteria are shortlisted. The merit list is prepared based on marks secured in the Phase-I examination, category-wise reservation provisions, number of available vacancies, overall competition level and performance in subsequent selection stages.

Recruitment Stages After Result Declaration

Phase-II Assessment

Phase II consists of physical fitness tests and adaptability tests. 1.6 km run within prescribed time, push-ups for male applicants, sit-ups for male and female applicants, squats as prescribed by IAF standards, Adaptability Test-I and Adaptability Test-II.

Phase-III Verification

The applicants clearing Phase II will undergo document verification, medical examination, height and weight assessment, vision standards check and overall medical fitness evaluation.

Eligibility Conditions for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2027

Educational Qualification

Science Stream:

• 10+2 with physics, mathematics and English with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• OR 3-Year Engineering Diploma with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
• OR 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics and Mathematics as non-vocational subjects and 50% aggregate marks.

Other Than Science Stream:

• 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• OR 2-Year Vocational Course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Age Requirement

• The applicants must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
• The age should be between 17.5 and 22 years as prescribed for the intake.
