Indian Air Force MTS Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the Indian Air Force MTS Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 02/2026 for Group C Civilian posts. A total of 06 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) vacancies have been announced at HQ Maintenance Command, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore. Eligibility Details

Applicants must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed in the official notification before submitting the application. They must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized Board. Applicant must be an Indian citizen. The minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 25 years. OBC applicants are eligible for 3 years age relaxation. SC/ST applicants are eligible for 5 years age relaxation. PwBD applicants are eligible for relaxation as per Government rules. Ex-Servicemen and Departmental Employees are eligible for age relaxation as per notification provisions. The desirable qualification includes one year experience as Watchman, Lascar, Gestetner Operator or Gardener from a recognized organization or institution.

Indian Air Force MTS Salary Details

The Multi-Tasking Staff post carries Pay Level-1 under the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix. Selected applicants will also be entitled to applicable Central Government allowances and benefits. Pay Level: Level-1, Pay Matrix: 7th CPC, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance and Other admissible Government benefits. Applicants selected through this recruitment will be subject to All India Service Liability and can be posted anywhere in the country.

The recruitment process consists of application scrutiny, written examination and document verification.

Written Examination

Eligible applicants will be called for a written examination. The written test will contain questions from General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages.
